I was raised in Maine where I learned a great deal about the unique, but closed off world around me. That idea of the “call of the wild” really struck a chord and empty places kept me returning to study; that's when I took to sketching from imagination. This is the way I found myself growing as an artist. My adolescent life was ending and I moved to Pittsburgh. It was here where I obtained a better understanding of human behavior and became more practical, open-minded and proactive. My adaption gave me perspective and with perspective came knowledge.
